Adel War Memorial Association is the home of Adel Players, within the leafy suburb of Adel in North West Leeds. 

All our rehearals and performances take place at Adel Memorial Association.  We are lucky enough to be able to rehearse in the same space that we use to perform in and to have lots of storage space on site for many of our props, costumes and scenery. 

We also use the Eddie Isle room, situated above the Hall, for a lot of our rehearsing and readings.  The Hall itself seats approximately 160 people and has a purpose-built stage with separate male and female dressing rooms, the latter recently refurbished.

If you are coming to us by car:  there is a large car park belonging to the Association that is free for members, patrons and guests (including audience members).  There is a large bar and comfortable seating area that is available for use by members throughout the year and for members of the audience to use on performance nights.

If you are coming to us by public transport:  bus number 1 from Leeds City Centre stops about 5 minutes walk away from Adel War Memorial Association.  You need to disembark at the stop just after Bellini's restaurant.

Members of Adel Players pay an annual membership fee of just £27 (increasing to £30 after 30th September 2008) to Adel Sports & Social Club Ltd, part of the Adel War Memorial Association, and this provides full use of the bar (including snooker table, quiz nights and social events) as well as the opportunity to join any of the many sporting groups based on site.  Sporting facilities are based in the building (squash, archery, table tennis, badminton, snooker and bridge) as well as in the large grounds (tennis, cricket, hockey, bowls, football, lacrosse and running).  There is then a small additional annual fee to each group within the Club;  Adel Players' additional fee is currently just £5.00 per year!
