Adel Players Murder Mysteries

Over the last few years our Murder Mystery evenings have become a hugely popular sequel to our main production season. Penned exclusively for Adel Players by our own members, namely Pat Riley, Jon Holmes and Andy Sneddon, these events are usually mounted towards the end of May and the profits from them have helped support worthy causes such as Adel St John the Baptist church, ABS the Soldiers' Charity and the Marie Curie Foundation (in association with Manning Stainton estate agents). As well as providing a fun opportunity to hone your sleuthing skills, the evenings also feature quizzes, a raffle and a "pie 'n peas" supper kindly laid on by our good friends in the badminton section.

Watch out for announcements next year if you are interested in coming along. Meanwhile, the subpages in this section offer some reminders of past events. And for a review which gives a great feel for these evenings (our thanks to Anne Lightman) just go to the end of this page.
