In early June 2014, Adel Players held two murder mystery evenings in aid of charity. The entertainment consisted of a new whodunnit play entitled 'It Went To Sudden Death', which our audience were invited to try to solve. Our friends at Adel Badminton Club kindly arranged the food - a pie and peas supper - and we also held a quiz and a raffle.

On Friday, we raised a total of £1200.25 for Adel War Memorial Association, and on Saturday, the Mannings for Macmillan 2014 appeal benefitted to the tune of £1672.14.

Many thanks to all those who attended and contributed to charity, and those who helped out - either by acting, helping out backstage or in other various ways! As always, we appreciate your support and endeavours, and we look forward to putting on our next murder mystery evening, hopefully in 2015.
